The benches did clog up the shopping centre
IN response to ‘Bring back our benches’ (Star, April 28) there are two ways of looking at this. Yes, it is nasty on the older people who like to sit and chat. But it does clog up the whole shopping centre and it’s hard to move around.
A lot of younger people avoid it due to it being so packed with people sitting down and standing up chatting when not even shopping.
