I WRITE with regard to the removal of seating in the Hardshaw Centre.
I realise that old people who are disabled, infirm or just old are not shopping or spending money while they are sitting down.
However, I do think that to enable people to pause a moment during their stay in Hardshaw Centre is good for public relations .
It is also a courtesy to all the folk of the town, old or young notwithstanding the few visitors that we do receive to St Helens town centre.
I hope that this note gives pause for thought for the management of the shopping centre and that the matter can be resolved.
