THE circus is coming to town! It's small wonder we are being drawn to Nigel Farage when this shadowy Labour cabinet is doing little to inspire the support of us – the plebs, the toiling masses, the not so thick.

Ed Miliband said leaving the EU could lead to a threat to British prosperity. We should be so lucky.

Up to the neck in debt and having to fork out billions to foreign aid and the EU. That's prosperity.

The other Ed (Balls) has found a loophole for tax dodgers. If a man cuts your hedges for a tenner, take his particulars and get a receipt, right. Does this include all the handy folk who do the jobs we can't do ourselves? They could be millionaires next year, that's really squeezing the rich.

The two main party leaders both speak with forked tongues and avoid serious issues, so pour scorn on Farage with his crazy ideas like quitting the EU, slashing immigration, securing jobs for Brits. Makes sense to a lot of us like-minded idiots.

Of course Farage too can talk through his hat. It was always going to be a two-horse race but one of you may need a running mate to govern.

A maverick for Dave and the Scottish nasties for Ed. Please! Send in the clowns.
