ON SATURDAY, March 28 at 8.15am, I was walking down Hard Lane.
The speed detector for vehicles was acting strangely. It was going from seven to 11 to 9mph without there being any vehicles.
I thought it might be due to the heavy rain, but when I’ve been past other speed detectors during rain I have seen nothing like it.
What concerned me the most is when a car actually went past the detector it did not say the speed.
I would like to raise concern and awareness for this fault as this is a busy road where lots of children cross and might cause confusion to drivers if it doesn’t stop changing numbers.
