TAYLOR Park is a lovely place to take my two-year-old daughter.

She adores it, especially the feeding of the birds and the playground. My moan is that I think from the boat house, turning right to the green fence where people feed the ducks, dogs should be put on leashes.

I have my child on reins whilst we walk around and I think it’s unfair and dangerous for myself and other parents to have dogs, sometimes three per person, getting in children's faces.

I don’t care if the person says: “they don’t bite”. Be responsible and think how a child thinks when an animal, inches from their face is barking at the ducks.

These people have an entire field not far on the left of the boat house to run their dogs.

All I’m asking is that the path, especially the right side around to the entrances to the playground, has rules so that dogs must be on leashes.

Why do they let animals run wild?

This leads to point two, dog foul. Pram wheels and children’s shoes caked in the stuff.

Point three is the two people that fish at the top end of the walkways on the right near the playground and in the way of people. They fish at the area not designed for fishing.
