YEARS ago when I smoked I considered myself a considerate smoker by only smoking in my car when I was alone.
I would not dream of putting another person, be it child or adult, in a confined space filled with smoke. Now that I’m a non smoker, I’ve realised that even smoking alone in the car has an impact on others, because if you are ever behind a ‘smoking car’ at a set of lights or roundabout you will inevitably end up with smoke coming into your own car via the vents!
Something I have to overcome by keeping a distance, at least one car length away.
So, I apologise to all the non smokers sat in their cars behind me at lights, etc, when I used to smoke in my car years ago.
