Bankers and boardroom executives are out of touch
IT WAS disclosed this week that earnings for directors at Britain’s FTSE 100 companies rose by 21 per cent over the last year.
It is clear who is benefitting from whatever recovery there is – it certainly isn’t the working people in St Helens.
While the majority of us continue to face cuts in our living standards, while essential public services wilt under the strain of austerity, it’s business as usual for bankers and boardroom executives.
That’s why the Green Party is supporting the industrial action taking place at workplaces across St Helens.
The main parties may be out of touch with real lives – the Green Party is not.
