MY hobby is the study of aircraft crash sites of British bombers from World War II here in southwest Germany.
One crashed very close to my home town between April 26 and 29, 1944. It was a Lancaster of 630 Bomb Squadron and all crew members were killed.
The pilot was Joseph Seddon Kilgour, who was married to Mary P Bradbury, St Helens (nee Perring). His father was Joseph William Kilgour, his mother Constance Mabel Kilgour and sister Amelia Seddon Kilgour.
Are there any relatives of Joseph Kilgour who may have a picture of him? We will erect a memorial stone to commemorate the crash site next year to commemorate this disaster.
