I WOULD like to say that after watching the town centre suffer over the last few years, the Summer Streets Festival was a much-needed breath of fresh air.
To see the entertainment, such as the dinosaurs, was so uplifting to the people of our town and shopkeepers too.
To see smiling faces and hearing people laughing and talking to each other reminded me that we still have a community in this town.
A big round of applause and a pat on the back to the organisers of all the events that took place.
Well done.
