LITTLE wonder we are losing the will to vote.

Politicians of all parties have brought about this apathy, treating people with disdain. With depressingly little to choose between the two main parties, why bother?

Take heart comrades there’s a new kid on the block Nigel Farage of UKIP – the laughing cavalier. UKIP scored in Europe changing the face of British politics for good or ill.

Polls suggest Labour will win the election. It’s early days yet but time the enigmatic Mr Milliband showed us he’s up for it. We need some rousing rhetoric to light the fire lest we finish up with the other Ed, the terrifying Mr Balls.

Nigel Farage voiced our fears and got the votes. It’s not racist to say the country is full. We want our country back, freed from the shackles of a union led by unelected, overpaid buffoons treating us like a milk cow.

Soon the main parties will be courting us for their votes. Posh Dave with his 2017 referendum – too late lad! It’s now or never.

Maybe UKIP will rattle a few cages but if we don’t vote we can’t moan and if we do vote we’ll get what we paid for. Nobody’s perfect.
