How many "concerned residents" last drank in the Black Horse?

I AM sick of reading about yet another pub being lost in the town recently.

The Black Horse in Moss Bank is the latest one to whip people into a frenzy.

I would like to know how many of these "concerned residents" last had a pint in there.

As the saying goes... use it or lose it!

You can't expect landlords to lose money every day just to appease local residents who never use the pub and like to look at it rather than go in and spend a bit of cash in there.

Put up or shut up!

They don't go in the pub but nobody else can go up there it's ours.

People seem to be missing the point of the protest, it was to stop the building which is over 300 years old being demolished. Yes a nice pub there would be good and yes I did drink in there but knocking down a building that old with all its history to replace it with tiny new houses is scandalous. If it was converted that would not be an issue. Haven't we enough brown field land in St Helens without building on bowling greens etc.
