Snow heroes made life easier in St Helens town centre

MAY I say a big THANK YOU to all the men who were involved in shovelling snow in St Helens Town Centre on Saturday.

They were there from early morning making pathways and gritting so we could go about our business as safely as possible.

They were all cheery, very polite, friendly and appeared happy in their work.

I felt very proud of these guys and wanted them to know that I for one really appreciated what they did for us Saturday morning shoppers last week.

pity these jolly fellows couldnt grit the side streets of the town why they was at it ,i seen numerous old people struggling to get about simply because no 1 had been out gritting

they were also on double pay and a day in loue,and don't forget they were doing the job we pay them to do.
