NEW Street Reserves are now 25 point clear at the top of the St Helens Combination Premier Division and look on course to take their first league title.

They moved closer with a 4-2 home win against West Park FC, Jamie Stanley contributing two goals with Warren Twist and Phil Dearden taking them clear.

Boilermakers Arms failed to stay with New Street after losing 2-1 at home to Tanner Athletic, Adam Leadbetter getting both goals.

Old Mill came from a goal behind to beat Clock Face 5-3 and move off bottom spot.

Cheshire Lines Reserves moved two points clear at the top of Division One, with a game in hand, after beating bold Rangers FC 4-3.

On Saturday Rockware beat Bold Rangers away from home with Michael Flynn getting a Hat trick.

Manor Athletic had a comfortable win over Sutton Junction Thirds with Darren Meacham and Cairan Duffy both getting hat-tricks.
