The Liverpool County Cups took pride of place at the weekend with both Junior and Intermediate Cups being played.

In the Junior Cup; Newstreet took on fellow St Helens Premier Division rivals Parr Cons and had a goal feast winning 0-11, Diamonds took on Widnes outfit Halebank and came away with a 3-2 home win.

In the Intermediate Cup only one Combination club progressed into the next round; Mere had a 3-2 home win against Liverpool Cavaliers, Prescot Reserves went down 2-4, Rockware lost 8-1, Penlake res lost on penalties, Brown Edge were beat 0-5 and St Helens Town Res lost 2-3 at home. There were two postponements which will be played on the 10th November and one game abandoned so that game will await a lcfa outcome.

On the domestic front; Prescot Sunn Inn had a big win at Clock face Miners to the tune of 0-7 whilst York had a 4-1 home win against Sutton Junction.

In the RG Trophies Sponsored Division One; Bowling Green had a big win at Moss Bank 0-9 to maintain their 100% record, Carborundum shared the spoils with a 1-1 against Knowsley South.

West Park beat local rivals Lions Grove 3-1 and Sumner Street piped local rivals Old Congs 3-2 at haydock.

In Division Two Sutton Manor could only draw at home to Sidac Social 1-1 whilst Newstreet Reserves had a 5-2 home win against Clock Face Reserves.
