Flannery returns to Saints squad for crunch batttle with Warrington Wolves

Chris Flannery Chris Flannery

EXPERIENCED Australian back rower Chris Flannery returns to the 19-man squad after missing the last three weeks but England centre Michael Shenton is not fit.

Flannery is due to retire at the end of the season – and if chosen the former State of Origin back row will be gunning to go out on a high.

Ade Gardner is included in the squad, but coach Mike Rush is unlikely to much in the way of adjustment to the side that has beaten both Wigan and Warrington in recent weeks.

Warrington include Man of Steel contender Ben Westwood –but he is not guaranteed to play after struggling with a knee ligament injury.
