BERNARD Platt’s picture captures the moment Kyle Eastmond dived in for a try that helped England defeat the Kiwis and move through to the Four Nations final.
The quicksilver number seven dashed between the posts for England’s opening try after Kevin Sinfield and Sam Burgess had carved open the New Zealand defence.
Meanwhile, Saints’ James Graham was also in the thick of the forward battle as the English pack produced an immense effort.
Coach Tony Smith used Saints duo James Roby and Jon Wilkin from the bench, possibly in the hope they could exploit some space around the Kiwi’s big men as the game wore on.
