- SAINTS have extended their lead at the top of Super League with a 26-4 win over Hull KR.
- In an error-strewn game, Saints were always in control and had got off to a blistering start when Ryan Morgan went over after two minutes.
- Man of the match James Roby went in from dummy half to double the lead on eight minutes.
- Ben Barba supported well on the inside to make it 18-0 at half time.
- Rovers scored their only try within two minutes of the restart when Junior Vaivai crossed, but they made too many errors to make a real game of it.
- Mark Percival soon cancelled that out and the game reamined scoreless until a Barba 90-metre effort on the hooter.
- Not a classic, after the drama of last week, but with results going their way this weekend they are now six points clear at the summit.
