- SAINTS are into the draw for the Challenge Cup quarter finals after beating Castleford 36-12 with the help of a Ben Barba hat-trick.
- They were always in control in what was a tough game despite the scoreline.
- Two cracking length of the field tries, the first from Regan Grace and the second from Barba gave Saints a 12-0 lead at the break.
- Another Barba try just after the restart looked to have settled it, but Jake Trueman's try put Cas back in the game.
- Ryan Morgan and Greg Minikin swapped scores and then Saints pulled away again with a classy one from Danny Richardson and the hat-trick try for Barba.
- Mike McMeeken scored an intercept to give Cas a bit of consolation.
- But it was a huge transformation from same time and place last year.
