SAINTS welcome back Morgan Knowles to the side now that he has served his four-match suspension.

He comes into the 19-man squad for the trip to Hull KR, which will leave Justin Holbrook with the option of continuing with Matty Lees as an interchange prop, or pushing Louie McCarthy-Scarsbrook into the front row.

The Saints boss said: "It will be brilliant to have Morgan Knowles back, we have really missed him.

"We have worked really hard with him and Jon Wilkin in the off season sharing that role.

"We started well with that formula and we have missed them both to have them both back we will be a much better side."

Holbrook does not expect an easy game, but wants his side to respond to last week’s loss.

He said: “I will contradict myself. Hull KR are very simple with the ball - they complete high in general play.

“But when they get set starts they are looking for trick shots and opportunities to catch your defence out.

“They have two extremes in how they play.

“It will be a tough challenge, but one I expect us to be up for after the disappointment of last week.”

Apart from Saints Grand Final winner Mose Masoe and big wing Justin Carney, the other eye-catching player that makes the Robins rock is veteran half Danny McGuire.

Holbrook said: “Danny has been doing it for so long now and it is a smart piece of recruitment to bring him in.

“When all else fails he has got a great kicking game to keep you under the pump.”

Another danger man in former Penrith centre Andrew Heffernan, who took some holding last week.

"They have some dangerous players, but we need our players to play well. We did not do that Friday and let ourselves down," Holbrook said.
