SAINTS prop Alex Walmsley has thanked well-wishers and fans for their messages of support from his hospital bed.
The 27-year-old had surgery on a broken bone in his neck - an injury sustained in the Warrington clash.
Yesterday coach Justin Holbrook explained that the big front rowewr had had an operation to correct the damage and was now recovering.
And today Walmsley, holding his son Atticus, tweeted his thanks saying: "It has been a rough week but I'll be back."
