ENGLAND full back Jonny Lomax was absent during captain's run ahead of the World Cup clash with Lebanon - prompting specualtion that he will miss tomorrow's game.
Wigan stand-off George Williams has received a late call-up- and though not confirmed the belief was that he will come in at half back with Gareth Widdop dropping to full back in place of Lomax.
Lomax, who missed England's warm-up match with a leg injury, was absent from the run through at the Sydney Football Stadium.
Williams revealed on his Instagram account that had been presented with his Test match jersey by former England international Gareth Ellis on Friday night and would be proud to wear it against Lebanon.
Other than confirming the call-up of Williams, England declined to elaborate on team selection.
