SAINTS will play Castleford in Thursday night's semi-final after Wigan lost today.
Justin Holbrook's men as good as booked their spot with a 30-4 win at Salford on Thursday.
Wigan had to win by 91 to stop them, but in fact lost, leaving Saints to keep fourth.
They will be sweating on the outcome of the on-report call against Alex Walmsley, a player vital to Saints' ambitions.
Hull's big win at the depleted runaway league leaders confirmed them in third place.
The Black and Whites will travel to Leeds on Friday in the other semi-final.
The Grand Final takes place at Old Trafford on October 7.
