- And then after a flurry of sets from lucky kick rebounds Leeds capitalised on their pressure when Adam Cuthbertson charged over.
- Watkins converted and Leeds led for the first time at 14-8 with 15 minutes remaining.
- When Louie McCarthy-Scarsbook and Alex Walmsley sandwiched Joel Moon after his grubber kick it resulted in Watkins booting the penalty for a crucial eight-point advantage.
- Saints were not finished though and Danny Richardson stepped off the bench to dummy his way over and Percival’s conversion cut the gap to two points with four minutes remaining.
