SAINTS have recalled Louie McCarthy-Scarsbrook to their 19-man squad for Friday’s trip to Widnes Vikings (8pm).

The Londoner comes in for of Luke Douglas, who sits this out after a brace of strong Easter weekend performances.

Kyle Amor was named in the squad, but is due to have his RFL disciplinary hearing tonight after being charged with a careless high tackle.

Ryan Morgan suffered a hip injury in the Good Friday defeat so Matty Fleming will keep his place.

Joint interim coach Derek Traynor said: "Ryan has had a bang on the hip – a little bit of muscle has torn away from the bone.

"It is sore but he should not be too long and does not need surgery.

"Matty (Fleming) had a few games last year and has been patient, performing really well in the reserves. That is why he got the shirt.

"It is no good having a reserve side if we do not take not of who is playing well.

"He has done well this year so it is up to him now to fight and try and keep that shirt.

"It is not automatic that someone comes back in because they are fit."

James Roby and Jonny Lomax remain sidelined.
