SAINTS will come up against a few familiar faces in their first derby clash at Leigh since the Centurions relegation from the top flight at the end of 2005.

Wing Matty Dawson, who has impressed on the flanks at Leigh Sports Village since joining midway through last season, and Atelea Vea need no introduction.

Added to that is skipper Micky Higham, who was Keiron Cunningham’s hooking understudy in the early noughties until moving on to Wigan when James Roby emerged.

Higham, now 36, has enjoyed a longevity to his career and after missing the start of the campaign will be keen to show he still has plenty to offer.

Leigh are packed with old heads - and the likes of Gareth Hock, Cory Paterson and Harrison Hansen provide plenty of size in the pack.
