SAINTS boss Keiron Cunningham expects Castleford to provide a stern test at Langtree Park on Thursday.

Daryl Powell's men have strung together a series of fine performances, even when their chances of making the top four evaporated.

Aside from prolific scorer Denny Solomona, Tigers have threat from the two Lukes, Dorn and gale, plus the rejuvenated Rangi Chase.

Cunningham said: "They are playing really well.

"If we hadn't done what we have done over recent weeks I'm sure they would have gone again and grown another leg.

"They will come here to play for sure. They are playing a carefree type of rugby and have overcome a lot of injuries to do that. These types of teams are usually the most dangerous you can play against."

Saints welcome back Luke Walsh and Luke Thompson from their two-game suspensions.
