SAINTS tackle second-placed Warrington Wolves at Langtree Park on Friday night hoping to get the win they need to get their top-four ambitions back on track.

They have lost their last two league games and face a Wolves side that have star man Chris Sandow back after a hamstring injury.

A tough encounter is expected, even though Warrington are missing two big men in the injured Ben Westwood and suspended Ashton Sims, replaced by Ryan Bailey.

Coach Keiron Cunningham said: "Warrington are a good team who play enterprising rugby.

"They work well with each other. We can all play well or bad on our day, we have just got to concentrate on our performance.

"If we do what we did last week, and then back that up with our defence, then we won’t be far short.

"Kurt Gidley complements Sandow really well. That is the difference between Warrington last year and the team this year.

"You bring a steady calm influence who takes you around the field and you can have Sandow doing what he wants off the back of that.

"He is a good player with a lot of flair – without Gids he probably would struggle but he is there and allows him to take the shackles off."

Luke Thompson is back after missing from the effects of the head knock he sustained in the last Wolves encounter.
