FORECASTERS predict thunderstorms across Britain on Friday night, but Saints’ concern will be to make sure lightning does not strike twice at Langtree Park.
Saints lost to Friday’s opponents Hull on Easter Monday, but have no scope for slipping up this time around as they chase Leeds and Wigan at the summit.
Hull are six points adrift of the top four and are clinging to an unlikely push for a semi spot by their finger nails.
Saints must be ruthless against a side that appears to be playing without a weight on their shoulders.
Keiron Cunningham said: “Hull played well against Castleford and I have no idea how they lost that game.
“They looked carefree and it was the best I’d seen them attack all year. To do that at Castleford is no mean feat.
“They will come at us for sure as all sides do at Langtree Park.
“But I have seen something with my boys this week that I haven’t for a couple of weeks. There is a glimmer in their eye and an air of determination to play well this week.”
Saints have replaced Kyle Amor with Oliver Davies
