NEW ZEALAND Warriors utility player Dominique Peyroux has signed a two year deal with Super League champions Saints from next season.

News of the 26-year-old Cook Island international's move emerged Down Under last night and Saints took the unusual step of sending an exclusive email to season ticket holders confirming the signing.

"Dominique is a versatile player who can cover a multitude of positions," Saints head coach Keiron Cunningham said.

"He is a proven NRL player, has a keen eye for the line and will fit well into the systems we have here at the Saints.

"We're looking forward to him joining us next season."

In a ststement Saints said: Peyroux played junior rugby league for the Otahuhu Leopards, Mangere East Hawks and Papatoetoe Panthers before moving to Australia at 15.

"He originally signed for Sydney Roosters in 2007 but played for the Newtown Jets before joining the Gold Coast Titans in 2011.

"An NRL debut followed in the same year and Dominque went on to play 16 times, scoring three tries, alongside former Saint Anthony Laffranchi.

"Dominique then moved to the Warriors for the 2013 season but his debut was delayed when he broke his jaw in a training session.

"He made his first of 22 appearances against the Broncos in June 2013.

"Internationally, Peyroux has made eight appearances for the Cook Islands, scoring five tries, including two in the 2013 World Cup."
