SAINTS forward Joe Greenwood is among three players have been charged with offences committed in Ladbrokes Challenge Cup quarter-final ties.

Greenwood has been charged with making Grade C dangerous contact on Widnes Vikings player Kevin Brown in the 68th minute.

Greenwood only returned to action last week after missing all the spring since Good Friday with a broken leg.

If found guilty, losing him for another two to three games, would be a bitter blow with some big games coming up.

Ben Currie of Warrington Wolves has been charged with the Grade C offence of making deliberate physical contact with a match official in the 62nd minute of the tie against Leigh Centurions.

Currie has also been issued with a formal caution for kicking out in a 62nd-minute tackle by Jake Emmitt in the same fixture.

Fuifui Moimoi of Leigh has been charged with making Grade B dangerous contact with Daryl Clark in the 77th minute of the same match.

All three players were charged after the incidents were viewed by the RFL Match Review Panel, which also issued a formal caution to Luke Walsh of St Helens for kicking out in a 37th-minute tackle by Widnes player Kevin Brown.

Currie, MoiMoi and Greenwood have until 11.00am on Tuesday June 30 to submit Early Guilty Pleas.
