SAINTS hooker James Roby, who played the Wigan game with his hand heavily strapped after suffering a rare double dislocation the previous week, said the team has a spring in its step heading to Wheldon Road.
Although Roby expects a tough game against the side that toppled Leeds last Thursday, the mood in the camp is upbeat.
Roby said: “Confidence is a very powerful thing to have throughout the team, especially when it comes through hard work and graft.
“We got that confidence off the back of wins at Hull FC and Magic – hard-fought games, and we took that into Wigan and got the win, hopefully we can take that into Cas and do the same.
“We are top we don’t want to let it slip, wer want to take advantage and stay where we are.
“Cas have hit form, and we know by playing them in the past that they are a fantastic team and we have had close games with them in the past.
“It is going to be a great battle at their home ground, but if we can do our job right and play how we know we can play then we can come out on top.”
