First Utility Super League are pleased to announce that AFEX, one of the world’s largest non-bank providers of global payment, foreign currency and risk management solutions, have become a partner of the 2015 World Club Series.

The series sees the three best Super League teams take on three of the top clubs in the NRL. It reaches its climax on Sunday February 22 when 2014 NRL Grand Final winners South Sydney Rabbitohs take on 2014 Super League champions St. Helens at a sold out Langtree Park to determine the world's best Rugby League team.

The partnership sees AFEX strengthen its association with Rugby League - AFEX is a kit sponsor for St Helens and were sponsors of South Sydney Rabbitohs during their successful 2014 season.

RFL Commercial Director Chris Rawlings said: “AFEX is an active and enthusiastic supporter of Rugby League both in the UK and in Australia and it’s fantastic that they are sponsoring one of the highlights of the Rugby League calendar. We look forward to working with them on what should prove to be a thrilling weekend of world-class sport.”

Rachel Hollos, Global Marketing Director, AFEX, said: “We are incredibly proud of our involvement in Rugby League and it is a privilege to be sponsoring the newly-expanded World Club Series. Aligning our values with like-minded brands is part of our strategy and this is a great opportunity for us to extend our global reach within the realms of the game.”

Stuart Holmes, EMEA General Manager, AFEX, added: “This is an exciting opportunity for AFEX, particularly for our EMEA and Asia Pacific regions, with six world-class teams competing in this tournament, we are in for three terrific matches.”
