SAINTS will have James Roby available for Castleford’s visit on Sunday, but prop Alex Walmsley has been banned for a match for striking.

Roby was fined £300 after being found guilty of making Grade B dangerous contact with Olivier Elima in the 10th minute of the fixture in France - but he has escaped a ban.

Walmsley, however, was not so fortunate and he was suspended for one match for Grade B striking in the last minute of the same clash.

Walmsley will be a big loss against a Castleford side who possess big, but skilful front rowers.

Nathan Brown expects a tough game, Sunday, 3pm. He said: “Cas showed their hand last week by resting five of their best players - and the fact they left out Shenton, Lynch, Clark and Sneyd probably shows they have targeted this as a win game for them.

“Daryl Powell is the smartest of the English coaches I have seen since I have been here.

“What he did when he took over has shown that he uses his personnel well.

“We would like to put in a good performance - we have only had the one loss at home this year, so if we could not lose another one that would do our chances on the table no harm.”

In injury news Adam Swift has a chance of being fit this week, if not definitely next week, Richard Beaumont will join team training next week and play at Rochdale in 10 days, Kyle Amor is four weeks away and Anthony Laffranchi is improving.
