HUDDERSFIELD'S Brett Ferres is facing a ban of between four and eight matches after being sent off for a dangerous tackle on Jonny Lomax the Giants' Tetley's Challenge Cup defeat to St Helens on Sunday.
Ferres was dismissed in the 64th minute of the fourth-round tie after appearing to drive Lomax head first to the ground.
The second rower has been charged by the Rugby Football League's match-review panel with a grade E offence - the second-most serious charge they could bring - and will appear in front of a disciplinary committee on Tuesday evening.
