Saints players coming back at just the right time
NEWS that powerhouse packman Sia Soliola is likely to be back in action for Saints at Wakefield on Sunday marks a return a couple of weeks ahead of his original schedule.
The big-hitting second rower has been out of action since damaging a foot ligament playing for the Exiles against England in mid June.
Soliola’s return to a pack that has been sticking together well in his absence – most notably against Wigan and Catalan – will give Saints a real boost heading into the home straight.
And with James Roby back running in training, it could be that Saints are getting their key men back just at the right time.
There were no injuries coming out of the London game, with Jon Wilkin and Jonny Lomax’s late departures purely precautionary measures, but Gareth O’Brien will have to sit out the trip to Wakefield.
Coach Nathan Brown explained: “Gareth has been stood down for three weeks on the advice of the specialist. He has passed his Cog test but the recommendation was three weeks rest from the time of the incident.”
