FORMER Saints skipper Paul Sculthorpe won the Rugger in the Ring boxing event at Bolton's Reebok Stadium last night.

The twice Man of Steel stopped heavyweight Lee Radford after flooring him in the second round.

It is not the first time Sculthorpe has walked away from the Reebok with a trophy - last time he came off the bench to score a crucial try in the 2007 World Club Challenge win over Brisbane.

The tournament saw eight former rugby league professionals box down to the final.

As well as the two eventual finalists, Keith Senior, Alan Hunte, Tim Street, Mick Cassidy, Sean Casey and Ian Sibbett took part in the Prizefighter type event in the fund raiser for Joining Hack.
