JONNY Lomax grabbed three tries from full back as Saints comfortably saw off the Bulls 36-10 at Odsal.

Lomax grabbed the opener when he zipped through on the right.
Willie Manu skipped through the middle for Saints’ second and Anthony Laffranchi took a reverse pass to make it 16-0 in as many minutes.
Lomax, who had a fine game in defence and attack, stepped his way through for his second.
It was too easy for Saints when Tony Puletua wrestled over from close range, goaled by Wheeler to make it an unassailable 26-0 at the break.

Ade Gardner, playing his first first team game for a while, then crossed, but Bulls wing Elliot Kear scored off the last kick of the game to make the scoreline look more respectable.

it was just a slow start to
season. Altho i have great
respect for Paul Wellens.
It is essential to have a F/B
with pace, Paul should switch
to loose forward.
