HERE it is! Saints new home shirt for the 2013 season has been revealed.

Tradition meets the modern as the famous Red V Shirt is this year trimmed with black to create a stunning kit for the forthcoming season.

The club have taken inspiration from a shirt which is synonymous with one of the greatest moments in the Club’s history.

The Red V is extended across the shoulders in homage to the famous ‘Wide to West’ try of 2000.

The shorts are predominately white with red flashes whilst the socks are red with white tops, with Saints woven down the reverse.

And the club proudly displays the team name – St.Helens R.F.C. – on the collar on the rear of the kit… so that’s all the opposition see as we race away from would-be tacklers!

Designed and produced by Australian kit manufacturers ISC, Main Shirt Sponsor Ty-phoo Tea are across the chest with Tudor North West set in the centre.

On the left shoulder are long term partners Knowsley Safari Park, My Protein are on the right with ODs Designer Clothing on the collar.

Hattons Solicitors and PSD Vehicle Rental retain their traditional rear of shirt placing.

The Short Sponsors for 2013 are Magners.

Steve Law, Saints Merchandising Manager, said: “We are delighted to showcase our brand new home shirt for Super League Season 2013. Once again we have worked very closely with our Official Kit supplier ISC to produce a kit we believe the fans and the players will love.

“This year we have combined the old with the new by extending the famous Red V up through the chest and over the shoulders. This was to maintain the tradition of a deeper vee whilst the addition of black into the home kit in the form of inserts, cuffs and hem trims has been created from the black trim within the Club Logo.

“The shirt is both functional and fashionable and can be worn on matchnights or socially. The shirts are of the same high quality as previous, with the same cut and sew construction used for the last two seasons.

“The material is vector polyester which is designed to keep you cool in hotter weather and warmer in colder times. The badge is dimension welded whilst the ISC Logo and the Club Name are embroidered on the right chest and back of the neck respectively. We expect demand to be high pre-Christmas so don’t delay and pre-order yours today.”
