BILLINGE took on Eagle Sports for the third time this season having lost both previous meetings once in the League and once in the Cheshire League Cup Final.
Eagle took an early lead as the home team appeared in total disarray.
A good move from the home side to find Danny Murphy in space whose slide rule shot found the bottom corner of Eagles goal to restore parity.
In the second half Eagle really started to apply pressure and it was down to an inspired performance from Dale Newbrook in the Billinge goal to keep the visitors at bay.
