LIVERPOOL St Helens return to action at Moss Lane this Saturday when Leigh are the visitors in the opening game of the South Lancashire/Cheshire season. 3pm kick off.
It is very much business as usual for LSH as the club continues to field three Saturday teams underpinned by a thriving mini and junior section, playing competitive rugby in a social and friendly environment.
Head Coach Andy Northey reports that there has been little change on the pitch either with the Moss Lane Faithful sure to see Mark Fryer, Chris Houlton, Adam Gore and Mark Potter leading the pack on Saturday. “Darren Wilson continues as captain” he said, “and is a superb asset to our team.
"Youngsters such as Matty Johnston and Alex McBride will have really benefitted from their experience last season and we have Dave Cunliffe and Phil Kearns available to us for some of the games.
"We hope to be competitive again and pushing towards the top all season”.
