TWO well match teams, two totally different styles of play, Newton fast and open, Birchfield slow rolling forwards game.
Newton's two tries first from Chris Robinson and then Mike Rowe both came from fast moves while Birchfield rolled their pack over for their two tries.
The main difference in these sides was Birchfield's kicker who one of the best we've seen this season, he converted both tries and in an equal penalty count he kicked four.
Newton are at home to Ellesmere Port next Saturday 28th KO 2:15.
