Knutsford 3 Prescot 0.

Prescot's unbeaten start to the season came to an abrupt end in Cheshire. The top-of-the-table clash went to the home team who dominated for long periods. Prescot lost two players hours before the start so having the bare 11 was a problem but no excuses, Knutsford were the better side on the day.

Prescot 2s1 Southport 1.

The seconds had the luxury of 15 players for the visit of Southport but struggled to get any momentum with a string of stop start moves. Southport took an undeserved lead just before half time but this spurred Prescot on. Plumbley and Johnson combined in midfield to create havoc in the Southport defence. From the resulting penalty corner Jones buried the shot and it was all Prescot. The home side pushed for the winner but were unable to break the visitors down again.
