ON Saturday morning St Helens Striders donned moustaches to take part in the MoRun at Croxteth Park in Liverpool.
Pauline Horsfall was first Strider to cross the finish line in 47:17 followed by Cheryl Orrick in 50.38.
Joanne Keogh in 54:24, Adam Gallimore in 54:46, Rebecca McKenna in 55:57, Ben Lawrenson in 1:05:25 and Mary Abbot completing her first 10k in 1:11:50.
Sunday morning St Helens Striders fielded two teams at the Beacon Park Cross country race.
Results were not available at the time but the men's team consisted of Peter Fairclough, Kevin Brennan, Paul Demore, Richard Seville, Jono Kirkman, Alex Abbott, John Lingard, Les Abbott, Neil Rigby and Simon Poole.
The ladies team were made up of Kylie Maguire, Donna Halsall and Gemma Webster.
Further afield Striders travelled to Wales to take part in the Conwy half marathon.
First Strider over the finish line was Neil Hunter in 1:41:18, Adam Gallimore in 1:57:45, Paul Hargate in 2:05:44, Rachel Tickle in 2:-7:48, Paul Carr finished his first half marathon in 2:13:20 alongside Gary Ward followed by Debbie Hill in 2:27:32.
