ST HELENS Sutton runners achieved personal bests in the Tom O’Mahoney Memorial Meeting at Liverpool Harriers’ Wavertree track.

Daniel Lamb ran 11.3secs in the under 17s men’s 100m, while in the women’s 80m hurdles Emily Smith clocked 14.9secs.

There were season-best performances for Caitlin Young in senior women’s events; 13.7secs in the 100m and 48.6secs in the 300m.

The club’s youngest members took part in the Ernie Gallagher Memorial Meeting, held concurrently at the same venue.

In the Years 4 and 5 girls’ 75m races, Olivia Byrom ran 13.8secs and Grace Swift 15.4 secs, while the latter clocked 33.7secs in the 150m.

Madison Lowe reached 2.16m in the long jump, while Ellis Philips and James McCarthy both ran 14.9secs for the 75m.

Ellis ran the 150m in 31.7secs, while James recorded 2.24m in the long jump.

In Year 6, Rebecca Plant ran 75m in 13.1secs, while Callum Roberts timed 3mins 6.4secs in the 800m.

Charlie Roberts was busy, running 100m in 15.5secs, the 200m in 31.6secs and winning the 800m in 2mins 38.8secs.

Kath Sparrow completed the Year 8/9 girls’ 100m in 16.4 secs, while Jorden Pilkington ran the Year 9 girls’ 75m hurdles in 15.2 secs.
