JAMES WADE and Mervyn King will meet in a rematch of last year's final when they clash in the first round of the 2015 Unibet Masters at ArenaMK on January 31 & February 1.

The £160,000 tournament features the top 16 players from the PDC Order of Merit following the World Darts Championship, which ended on Sunday and saw Gary Anderson move up to third in the world rankings with his triumph.

Played in a 16-player draw bracket, the two-day event will be screened live on ITV4 across two sessions per day.

Saturday's first round games will be headlined by the repeat of last November's classic final between world number six James Wade and Mervyn King, the 11th seed who led 9-2 only to see the left-hander hit back to win 11-10 in a thrilling deciding leg.

Anderson - the 33/10 second favourite will play his first match as World Champion against Andy Hamilton, while world number one Michael van Gerwen, the 11/4 pre-tournament favourite opens against Wes Newton and Phil Taylor, the 2013 Masters champion and 7/2 third favourite, plays Terry Jenkins.

Adrian Lewis, the 2013 Masters runner-up and reigning UK Open champion, is up against Ian White in an all-Stoke affair, with 2014 World Championship finalist Peter Wright taking on Brendan Dolan.

Australian ace Simon Whitlock faces Premier League champion Raymond van Barneveld and former UK Open champion Robert Thornton takes on 2014 Grand Slam of Darts finalist Dave Chisnall.

"Following the amazing success of the World Championship, the confirmation of the draw for The Unibet Masters sets pulses racing for our next big TV tournament live on ITV4 at the end of the month," said PDC Chairman Barry Hearn.

"Last year's final between James Wade and Mervyn King was one of the most thrilling deciders we've ever had and it's ironic that, due to their rankings, they'll meet again in the first round.

"That's just one of a host of tasty ties which will be played over the weekend in Milton Keynes, where tickets are already heading towards a sell-out! It promises to be a memorable tournament."

Following Saturday's first round games, the quarter-finals will be held on Sunday afternoon, with the semi-finals and final in the evening session as the 2015 Masters champion is crowned.

Tickets for the tournament, which is the PDC's first visit to Milton Keynes, are still available through www.arenamk.com via the What's On section, or in person at the ArenaMK Box Office.
