In the Premier Division; Newstreet keep the pressure on Diamonds with a narrow 1-2 away win at Bold Rangers, Rainford North End have to thank the evergreen Dave Brewer for his solitary goal in a tight game at Bushy Lane. Parr Cons had a 3-2 win at home to Knowsley South to record their first win of the season, Penlake beat Sutton Junction 4-1 whilst St Helens Town Res had a comfortable 5-2 home win against Clock Face Miners.
In the RG Trophies Sponsored Division One; Brown edge away day proved fruitful with a narrow 1-2 away win at Knowsley Res, Bowling Green hit Carborundum for 5 at Bishop Road 1-5, Old Congs and Lions Grove shared the spoils with a 1-1 draw at Haydock, Sumner Street beat Mere 1-3 whilst West Park had a good win at Prescot Sunn Reserves.
In Division Two; Ste Scahill of Sutton Manor scored all 5 of his team’s goals to send Sutton Manor to the summit of the division (5-2), Newstreet Reserves are starting to show form with a 1-3 away win at Rockware whilst Sidac Social had a big 2-5 win at local rivals Clock Face Miners Reserves.
