MARTIN Murray’s stormy battle with Philadelphia’s Gabriel Rosado did not end at the Echo Arena in Liverpool on Saturday night – it was still being waged on Twitter.
The 34-year-old retained his WBA Inter-Continental middleweight title with a majority decision of 119-109, 116-112 and 114-114.
Yesterday on Twitter Rosado posted: “I boxed and pressed the action…championship rds I had Murray hurt several times. I made the fight happen. I know I won!!”
But Murray swiftly responded with: “You had a boxing lesson and it was too little at the end. Anyway, safe journey home. All the best.”
