Latchford Albion 16 Haresfinch 14

3:40pm Thursday 5th July 2012

In a gripping clash Latchford took the honours after a lot of controversy at the end of the game due to an initial uncertainty about the score.

It was a brilliant start for Finch though as Josh Ainsworth powered in for two tries.

The first one was when the Latchford’s defence brought the centres dummy and he shot through for the try, with Louis Platt converting and his second try was from another dummy.

But it was nip and tuck for the rest of the half and Finch led 10-0 at the break.

Latchford drew first blood after the interval with a converted try. But Finch replied with a try from Ant Harden, who has scored in each game he has played.

However Finch went into hibernation and Latchford scored two tries with one converted to take a lead.

The man of the match was Lee Parry closely followed by Danny Green and Ant Harden.

The players player was Josh Ainsworth.
