THE Warriors looked good at the beginning and were first on the scoreboard with a converted try.

However two quick tries from Finch, one from Ant Harden and the other from Shane Sparrow converted by Liam Hill, put the homesters in the lead.

Finch then settled into a rhythm and loose forward Ant Harden shot through the Leyland defence for his second try with Liam Hill adding the extras.

Lee Parry then brought the house down when he charged through on a 40 metre run swatting the Leyland defence like flies as he scored wide out to leave Finch in front 20-6 at the break.

Within moments of the resumption Josh Ainsworth made a break down the left to send his winger Danny Fletcher over for a try in the corner.

Danny Green then swept in for a try for Finch before a bit of indiscipline let Leyland in for a couple of tries.

Finch returned to business as usual five minutes later when John Arnold scored to the left of the posts and Shane Sparrow got his second try when he powered in to the right of the posts with Richard Twist adding both conversions.

The Haresfinch sports and social man of the match was Ant Harden followed by Josh Ainsworth and Chris Simm. The players player was jointly won by Chris Simm and Ant Harden.
