THATTO Heath Crusaders A' maintained their unbeaten start to their North West Premier Division campaign (four wins from four matches) with a 29-14 win over Orrell St.James on Saturday.
A fine break from Ryan Heaton was finished well by Adam Walsh for the opening score. Owen Scholes added another, before the Crusaders were pegged back to 12-12. Leon Tatlock then restored Heath's lead when he finished a set play well to crash over by the posts shortly before half time.
Heath withstood constant pressure in the early stages of the second half, before two tries from Shaun Quinn and a Tom Rigby drop goal sealed victory for the Crusaders. Shaun Quinn was successful with four conversions from five attempts.
Man the match for Heath went Leon Tatlock who was excellent in defence and a constant threat in attack.
Heath are next in action away to Ashton Bears on Saturday 6 May, kick off 2.30pm.
